Installation

Installation of Bi-Steel structures reduces the requirements for lifting plant and labour in scale and time.

Bi-Steel structures are designed to make installation as fast and simple as possible.  Most structures are delivered as modules which are lifted into position and connected using Surefast slot and lock connections, bolts or welding depending on the strength of connection needed.  Typically, a crane would be required to assemble the modules.

Once the modules are assembled and connected the middle of the Bi-Steel panels is filled with concrete.

Corus provides straightforward installation instructions supported by site supervision when appropriate.

Health and safety requirements are the same as for standard lifting of large steel sections.
