Perimeter security

Bi-Steel PAS 68 perimeter security solutions are designed to offer high levels of terrorist bomb protection. Key government, public and commercial buildings are at risk, as is our critical national infrastructure (CNI) such as utilities and major transport hubs. In addition, adequate protection must be provided for members of the public as they go about their daily lives in crowded places such as shopping centres, sports arenas, visitor attractions, cinemas, bars and restaurants, indeed in all locations where people gather together in numbers.

In each case, providing robust physical security will reduce the risk of terrorist bomb attack and deliver additional blast protection for both people and assets located at security-sensitive sites. Bi-Steel solutions can be divided into two key areas:

Redeployable vehicle barriers

Deliver unrivalled blast protection and can be deployed quickly and with minimum disruption, typically for temporary use, on a short or medium term basis.

Permanent vehicle barriers, bollards & walls

Deliver protection to meet long term physical security needs, from protecting key government and commercial buildings for which there exists a significant threat from terrorist bomb attack, to critical national infrastructure such as airports, utilities and key industrial sites.
